This unique and exclusive retreat will be a journey of introspection, communal compassion, and spirited activism. Retreat participants will work together to raise $10,000 USD ($500 per person raised) for the NGO via CrowdRise.org.

The NGO we will be raising $10,000 collectively towards “Women empowerment and entrepreneurship” in this region. Launched by the Government of Kerala state in 1998, this initiative addresses the basic needs of the less privileged women by making them aware of their rights and empowering them to become self-reliant. This NGO is not only running a school for the illiterate women, but it is also showing them a path for a better tomorrow. In addition, they are also running various development initiatives including improving the employment for the women of the local community, heath and sanitation and social causes.
This is a day long program where we will get the opportunity to be a part of this initiative by working with them, sharing our views and experiences and spending the day together.
