We believe in giving back and in helping others.
OmLuxe Participants have raised over $100,000 USD to date for these various NGOs and Charities.
We believe it’s only when we are giving back that are we truly living our Dharma and contributing to Humanity and to the planet.
We journeyed to Cambodia to raise money and awareness for children and teen survivors of sex trafficking. We had the exciting opportunity to meet the girls, practice yoga and meditation with them, and visit the famous temples of Angkor Wat together. We raised a total of $54,000, which paid for their shelter, food, clothing and school supplies for an entire year.
This unique and exclusive retreat was a journey of introspection, communal compassion, and spirited activism supporting Matt Damon’s Foundation Water.org, a nonprofit organization committed to bringing safe water to millions who lack access to it. We Journeyed to Peru and Machu Picchu to a small village and visited a children’s school. We were able to raise $13,500 to help water.org with their mission of providing clean water.
For this retreat we raised $12,500 to help 25 women in rural India start their own tailoring business. This initiative addressed the basic needs of less privileged women by making them aware of their basic human rights and empowering them to become self-reliant.
In November 2016, OmLuxe hosted an exclusive seven-day photography expedition and yoga safari in Kenya. Designed to inspire our journey’s tribe of 25, it benefited Big Life Foundation and The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust through fundraising, and raised awareness around the issues of elephant poaching and the trafficking of ivory.
OmLuxe Participants traveled to Marrakech and raised money to support Project Soar. The goal of Project Soar is to empower Moroccan girls through art, sports and health education. We help keep girls in school, breaking the cycle of girl marriages and girl motherhood.
